GAYA JOYAS
Gaya comes from the Greek aía, which in Greek mythology means Mother Earth. This luxury jewellery brand, creates collections with respect to Mother Earth, as the source of life and beauty.
Founded by Mariana Magtaz, an accredited professional jewellery gemologist that held important curations and jewellery
exhibitions in Brazil and across the world, and author of the book "Joalheria Brasileira”, Brazilian Jewellery, that is considered the most comprehensive and important literature on the topic. Mariana designs her extraordinary jewellery inspired by Peruvian ancient cultural heritage and nature, and combines her love for Brazillian ‘Bossa’ and Peruvian flair.
She proudly locally sources her materials and works amongst other, with Pink Opal, a gem that can only be sourced in Peru, her mission is to have this globally recognised.
For the AW24 collection ALEGRA COLLECTIVE is proudly collaborating with Gaya Joyas to introduce the brand at the famous Scoop International fair in the UK.
